Transcripts, translations, financial evidence and sponsor papers — what to collect first and what usually causes delays.
What to consider
Every student's situation is different: academic background, English level, family budget and long-term plans all change what makes sense. Use the points below as a starting point, then discuss the details with a counsellor before you commit to an application.
- Write down your realistic budget for tuition and living costs, including the first year in full.
- Check the entry requirements of at least three institutions before deciding on a country.
- Give yourself enough time for the language test — retakes are common and take weeks to schedule.
- Collect financial and academic documents early; incomplete files cause most delays.
